The local distributor didn’t seem to bring any in. I was told they were moving to a pre-order system in the new year like they do with B-United’s portfolio. Haven’t heard any updates yet.

FWIW, I took a chance on Blacklist BA Cherry Stout (bought at SLL) and it's not worth $20...or $10.

    Don't waste your money.

It was at Chicago Lake yesterday. One of my favorites from last year.

Surdyk's still has King Sue, Sosus, Supra Sumo, Abraxas, Nightman Cometh(don't think it was BA) and they just got some new Drekker(wheeez the Juuuuuuuice and sour bullets)

Also to the guy above - Yesterday downtown Lunds had some Grindcore left. Also had KS, BA Double Black and Toppling Goliath Gamma Gamma(probably a month old but still tasted great!

Belly Dance is another really good one from Blackstack.

And I know this should be in the "On Tap" thread, but was at Ansari's last night and their tap list is insane. Besides Belly Dance, they had 2 good ones from Barrel Theory, Rum BA Death by Coconut, and my new favorite Shook, the double vanilla.

Any bitterness or is this one straight sugar and booze? Hop mix sounds great and I'm intrigued but hoping for some bite!

Well everything is relative, and the wife and I were splitting taps. We had this at the same time as Back Channels Drinking Team. Drinking Team was significantly more bitter. Belly Dance was more on the sugar and booze side. (Which happens to match my preference in an IPA)

*Also note that Belly Dance was the last of the 8 beers we split over the night. So the 10+ ABV of the BA Death by Coconut and the Filo Dreams probably was skewing my judgement.

Plenty of Abraxas at TW Roseville, if you are looking for it.

What do you guys like from Oliphant? I picked up a can of Last Year's Talent last night that I'm looking forward to trying this weekend. Their artwork always draws me in but curious what (if anything) anyone loves from them.

    Thanks!

So 12 oz BA Silhouette bottles hit Minnehaha today. 10.99 per according to Twitter. Rather have the bomber for that price.

Odd for two reasons: the pricing and rolling out before the release party.

I'll have to try that. I actually had the Last Year's Talent last night and really enjoyed it.

Does anyone know if bombers will make it to distribution or if it will be just 12 Oz. bottles?
