Alesmith Speedway Stout. I've had variants and barrel aged, but never regular Speedway Stout!

Orval. Place I worked at even used to sell it in bottles. Even meant to grab one a few times, but for some reason I never did.

Well worth trying. You'll get lots of head, quite foamy.

Considering I saw Axeman for $17 at a store in WI the $32 price seems really good. I paid $8.99 for Furious, guessing Abrasive is similar?

    Enjoy

    Furious is $9.99 a 4/ pk.

If your not in the district area and need to scratch an itch it’s easier and costs the same as trading. You just have to be in a ship to state, an it’s legal.

Another one in the Orval boat. I see it constantly. May be on my to do list this week. Triple Karmeliet, Gulden Draak, Piraat also never tried.

    I’m sensing a theme here.

Gulden Draak is absolutely nutso. Also if you ever come across the Calvados barrel aged variant, acquire it at whatever price they're asking. Spare no expense.

I think you should've held off on posting this for a while because it appears less than halfway down the first page and it makes the rest of the thread anticlimactic.

I'd like to answer this question, but there seems to be quite a few "must haves" that I've never had, either because they weren't available in my area, or the price was more than I wanted to pay.

I have an idea... For BA's next Online Tasting (see example) the theme could be "beers you inexplicably haven't had" before. If you posted in this thread, you already know what to get.

( @FBarber because you initiated the last one)

Thats a great idea! We previously did a "Beers you need to revisit" so this would be appropriately following that theme. I'll kick the tires on the thread this weekend to get a date set.

Pirate Bomb, BA Bomb or any of the other rarer Bomb variants would probably be preferable to regular Bomb, though harder to find. As in - not currently available except in trade. Regular Bomb is still decent.

At this date be wary of Abrasive, it’s usually a T’ Giving kinda availability. Ask about canning dates before you buy, IMO it doesn’t age all that well.

I’ve never ever had anything Belgian, with the exception of Lindeman’s Framboise. Nothing, not one, nada. I probably need to change that, but in my mind they’re not really beer.
