    Continuing on with our 16 Nights of Firestone Walker tasting, Little Lady and I are on night #15, one night away from finishing up our Anniversary Ale vertical.

    Thoughts on this blend...

    5 years in the bottle, I would say this is surprisingly good, but I'm not surprised. This is very very mellow right now. The Bravo with just a bit of Parabola and Merkin is almost sour at first, then sweet, then a bit bourbony, then tobacco after taste. Re-reading the blending notes, I was prepared to be a bit let down after liking the 16 and the 12 so much now, but this blend is solid.

    Not right now, but I popped open some Mischief, Stone IRS, and Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout while watching my Steelers play down to their opponent again tonight on MNF.

    Just finished a 2012 Anchor OSA, which is probably my favorite seasonal released all year. Now finishing off some Willett Rye. One of the best rye whiskeys made anywhere.

    Truly wish I could say I enjoyed it, but it isn't that great. I do like how thick and complex it is, but it's got a very bitter, off taste too it that almost taste like it's infected though I don't think it is. It was worth a try, but I wont be picking it up again.
