Other Half's innovation for IPAs this past year has been to turn pre-existing beers into triples.

I actually think it will be around 8.5% give or take .5%, and non-lactose in order to appease a larger crowd.

I bet it will be a new batch of crickets to make sure it sticks around and everyone can try it.

I'd honestly love some more 6.5% IPAs. Tired of drinking 10%ers every week.

I miss the 7-7.5% IPAs. OH’s standard now seems to be 8.5 and that’s just to much for more to enjoy more than one can at a time.

Even though they've been cranking out a lot of triples, I have to say OH has it dialed in. That recent batch of triple mosaic dream from 2 weeks or so ago is drinking real nice right now. I'm really interested in seeing how Triple Mylar DD stacks up since I love Mylar Bags, but it's so damn cold out.

I kind of wish OH and other places would can high ABV beers in 12 oz cans and the lower ABV beers (like lagers) in 16 oz cans.

Doesn't interboro do 8oz stout cans?

They did it for one batch. For the last stout they went back to 16 oz cans. I think Fifth Hammer has a batch of 8oz stout cans still around the city.

It really is the perfect format for big stouts!

8oz cans for the pastry stouts make perfect sense.
