Good thing I can see Founders from my office window and already have plans for lunch there on Wednesday... Haven’t been this excited about a Founders release in a loooong time.

I live in Chicago, if that's what you're asking?

Seriously. I've been to every one except this past year. In 2017 me and my buddy stayed at a table from when we got in at 11am until 9pm or so.

From what I'm being told the "release party" will be in the taprooms on Friday....just no weekly tappings at other restaurants leading up to it

Well shit. I hope there will still be a Black party. That was so much awesome.

Roughly 200 deep in line in Detroit. Weather sucks.

Damn. I don't get off work until 3:30. I was hoping the weather kept some home and I would still have a chance at some. Oh well.

Thanks for the info - I had heard it was long, but didn't realize it was that long. Anyone else who continues to have any update on the status, definitely share it here!

Wow...I guess a 5 case limit may have been a bit much? I'm hopeful that I'll be able to snag a bottle or two from friends/traders.

I showed up at noon. That was dumb. But at least I’m enjoying a pour with lunch.
Sold out at roughly 12:05-12:10. In detroit
Maybe I’m an idiot but I just bough a case from a guy for $100. Ya I’m an idiot. But thanks to the guy I bought it from if he reads this!!

$25 per 6 pack for a BA version of Imperial Stout doesn't seem awful. I know it's over cost, but I wouldn't have blinked an eye if Founders charged that.

Let me know if you need someone to take some of those off your hands when I'm in the Detroit area on Saturday!

Shit. I left shortly before that and the line was still huge. Did people really get shut out?

Got there at 945 and was 20 something in line at Detroit. Guy that works there came out and said 247 cases were available, immediately knew it would barely make the line at the time.

I knew it would sell out quickly but can’t imagine their logic behind making enough beer for < 50 people to max out the allotment allowed.
