What beer are you drinking now? #2286

I'm kicking back with a Three Heads Giant Panda DIPA. Wifey has a migraine and has gone in for a nap, so it's all me time right now. It's full of fruit. Pineapple, mango, citrus and some surprisingly good peach notes. Strong malt backbone as well. This is a good one. And it came in a 16 oz. can, which is rarely available in my shop's build your own six section.

Interestingly when I was in the store picking up the sixer, a guy walked in, picked up 4 CASES of it and checked out. I can’t imagine having that much Hopslam.

@SixpointBrewmaster always makes nice and affordable brews and this is no exception. Pours a very attractive dark cloudy orange yellow with a solid finger sticky off white head that leaves thin webs of lace behind. 4.25

Smell is mango, passionfruit, coconut, almonds, and some pineapple. 4

Taste follows mango, coconut, almonds, passionfruit, and pineapple. 4.25

Mouthfeel is a big sticky medium, soft on the palate, and at 8.2% ABV dangerously drinkable. 4.25

Overall another very nice beer from Sixpoint, always enjoy what they do and the price you pay for it. Cheers all. 4

Happy Wednesday Ba ... Founders Trigo. Stopped in at a place I used to frequent about twice a week after work. Quickly reminded why I don't come here anymore. Sit at the bar for 10 minutes before anyone asked what I needed. Also I should add I'm the only one in here. I'll finish this and check out another spot or go home. Cheers !

I always look forward to this release and at 9 days old, it doesn’t get much fresher than this. Smell is fantastic and the taste follows: malty, danky, juiciness. Might have to pick up another 6 because this one won’t last too long.

Haze by Treehouse in the early afternoon. Love this beer. Probably my favorite from their regular rotation but ask tomorrow and I’ll probably say something different, ha!

Peppermint Mocha Cow Cow from The Brewing Projekt. Nice dessert beer, might be a touch sweet for some.

 

Couldn't get outta there fast enough. Now at a local brewery having their Black Mountain Black ipa. Enjoy !
