Clear golden color with good white cap and lacing which tracts all the way down the glass..

Aroma of good malt with piney, citrusy hops.

Taste presents a substantial malt body up front toting fresh hops on it's back. The hops have a bit of a piney kick but are mostly citrus and fruit. I get some elements of grapefruit, both pulp and zest, also ripe fruits such as mango and pineapple. Fairly complex and well blended flavors.

    Full body with balancing carbonation.

This is my idea of an IPA, full bodied and substantially hopped.

Inferno IPA. A Triple IPA from Haand Brewery (Norway). Rather tasty and warming.
    Cheers from Norway!

Meanwhile quick-chilling two cans of Nøgne Ø outside. Found these in the supermarket (much to to my surprise, and they are not alcohol free).

Would have posted this last night, but as the boy was home I was busy. Shared a 3 Sheep's Veneration Variant Belgian Quad w figs and molasses aged in rye whiskey barrels w cocoa nibs & cherries, 3 Sheep's The Wolf variant aged in bourbon barrels w raspberries & coffee-the missus said yum ! And as it was the last day before this year's release most of a bottle of CW XX anniversary stout-the winner imo !

We all need a hype man like @cjgiant. How much are you paying him, @PatrickCT? I've already thought of at least two to four beers for that day. Can't wait!

Whew! Finished with lunch, and pairing the rest of Barreled Souls' Mexican Donut (beyond fantastic, by the way!) with some pork tacos:

Now, some pics from last night. A bunch of brews were opened for sharing, most of which are not pictured. Also: a Philly Cheese Steak food truck!

If my memory is to be trusted, we're looking at: Against the Grain Citra Ass Down, Bruery Bakery, Foreign Objects Wet Gravity, and some more Bakery (along with bacon cheese fries).

Not pictured: share pours of Side Project Punch Down Pinot Noir (amazing!), Crane 3rd Anniversary Stout (very nice), Cycle Rare Dos Blended (rum and bourbon barrels - fantastic!), Bottle Logic Fundamental Observation (.....whoa; just incredible), and Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales Stargate: Peach Rye.

Thanks to some generous drinkers for some phenomenal shares.

    Cheers, BAs!

Thank you. Beers from a brewery where I have no idea what their flagships are, but if the listing order is any indication, the clear beer on the left might be one.

Twinpanzee has apparently been open for a couple years, but this is our first visit and first beers. GF went IPAs (including Resilience), I have a “lime ale” (Lawnmower Mangg), hibiscus saison, Kölsch, and hefe.

A band is setting up - I believe it’s a bunch of kids from a music school playing Bach on rock band instruments. Could be interesting.

Moving right along here ba. Champion Ground, bba imperial stout, from Jackie O's brewing. Wow, this is crazy good. Very coffee forward with really good balance between the base and barrel notes. Maybe a touch thin on the body but remarkably smooth for the abv. Will be grabbing more.

You're welcome! As good as the base beer is, this is one where the barrel aged version completely blows the base out of the water. It's smooth with a subtle barrel presence and a ton of flavor. If I can ever get more than two of them, I would age one at least six months to see what happens. Problem is I have only gotten singles of it and I just can't wait to drink it.

Anyway, I'll post a second pour pic like you did, accompanied by the Christmas gifts I finally finished building this week.

Just listened to this song again. I don't think there's been a band since the Moody Blues who uses orchestra accompaniment better.

I'm damn curious about that band.
I forgot to ask this earlier: Is Flagship Day just an excuse for @PatrickCT to drink a case of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale?
