I'd be in, 22 months til retirement and currently 400 hours of vacation. Would need to pick a place that folks can get into/out of fairly easily....we should all pitch it around...Jacksonville near where @Roguer lives has a bunch of breweries and a 2-3 block area with 350+ taps....

 

It is not a matter of let's me drink whiskey. I drink whiskey after I drink beer. Then after whiskey I drink red wine and then beer again. The missus stays on the red wine train. Ocassionally it is a numbing experience but not often. Most of us as we have aged have learned to not go overboard. And maybe the tolerance level changes w time. Now @vabeerguy have abeer !

After the second pic I said, “Wait, WTF that’s definitely not a Tele.” Then I realized it was different. Thought I was going crazy.

Then I saw the third pic and was just like “WTF how many guitars does this dude have?”

What’s the one with the tremolo?

Is the last one with the funky tailpiece a Conti?

 

Scotch ale made by the brewery that makes Samichlaus in Austria. This was delicious. Fantastic head retention/dense soapy lacing. Flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, toffee, raisin, plum, cherry, fig, date, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, brown bread, roasted nuts, wood/peat smoke, leather, tobacco, and toasted biscuit malts; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Similar/muted aromas, a touch too fruity/yeasty. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery hop; and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; creamy/bready/grainy malts; some sticky hops and light chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Dangerously smooth, minimal warming 8.7%. Great balance of nicely rich dark/smokey malts and fruity yeast complexity; with nice earthy hop presence/balance against sweetness. Impressive, well made style example. Got better as it warmed up. A lot of great well rounded complexity. 3.91

I'd opt for folks who worked for a balanced budget, some responsibility etc. Having all kinds of free stuff is great until it all falls apart. Good luck kids !

 

Sorry, but BCBS over vanilla ice cream is a lot better and cheaper than the vanilla variant.

The one with the tremolo is a 20th anniversary PRS, incredible guitar. The one with the funky tailpiece is my favorite, it's a Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion III. Just an amazing sounding guitar, fat and warm. It can sound like a Les Paul or a 335 so it's really versatile.

These two tunes were recorded with the Gibson, and also an ode to Tremont Ale.

Old Town Alexandria needs some cheap liquor stores like metro Detroit. Even the 7-Eleven here is mostly craft.
