Thanks. Did this make it to most Binny's? Been wanting to tick this one

Showed up at LP Binny’s on Wednesday or Thursday (they got a case of this and many cases of M43), had it Thursday afternoon when I called, was gone by the time I arrived on Thursday (5:30ish).

BITTER. I assume the hop profile was BITTER.

Tweed is good but very green right now for my tastes. I'm gonna give my other cans a week or two.

M-43 I find is always great super fresh but falls off quickly, so I hope Tweed has a more forgiving sweet spot.

I’ve had M-43 at 6-8 weeks and thought it was fantastic. Different strokes, I guess.

I have had some batches that were fine when older, but most haven't made it to a month before being noticeably impacted. As you say, different palates.

I’ve been seeking goon sap of any nationality ever since.

PS NvU vs Haze is perfect.

Call me crazy but nvu vs haze is the most balanced & fine tastin NEIPA in the midbest.

Binny’s LP has Triptych dank meme, Not Giants But Windmills, and King of the World. Canned 1/28-30

Just visited the brewery for the first time. I was amazed at the availability and quality of the beers (both on draft and to go). Wake up, Neo reminded me of the Ram/More beers, just fantastic.

Had a King of the World the other day and it was good. Don't have a ton of notes to provide as it was at a Super Bowl party and I had already had one or two, and been eating spicy food. Got some in the fridge though. I do know it's an iteration of Batch 400: No Ragrets if anyone had that.

Haven't had that Not Giants version yet, but I'm not a reliable source here anyways as milkshake style hasn't done a lot for me regardless of brewery.

Yep. I'm spoiled to be about 5 min from there. And Wake up Neo is a badass beer. One of their best.

I know this isn't Chicagoland but, has anyone else bought M-43 at Binnys? I bought a pack and the color was a dark murky brownish-orange and it wasn't a great beer. Wondering if thats right?

I got mine at Bitter Pops last week, and it was definitely not brownish orange. I'm guess you got a bad can/4-pack or something. It was a pretty damn good NE IPA.

Had it on draft finally up in LP and it was so good. Way better than canned.

This beer turns color real fast. The taste def suffers but its not undrinkable. I'd say drink it within 4 weeks if you don't find it cold.

Seriously though, this is spot on - I've definitely noticed this on M-43 more than any NE IPA outside of a Mikerphone 12 ounce bottle. It's like the Zombie Dust of NE IPAs. Not bad when it's older, but the color is a bit off-putting and it definitely doesn't taste as good fresh.

In short, you must be new here. It's Mikerphone's fault.

Well if that's the case, a lot of the old Hop Butcher haters have a new (least) favorite brewery.

How long do cans typically last at Corridor releases. I see they are releasing Cosmic Juicebox on Friday.
