I'm in for 2/3/4 bottles as well. I don't know the owner, but I had asked them to call me when FMB came out, and never heard back. Don't know if they ever got it or not.

 

I'm just curious, how much would a case of this cost?

 

I would guess $150-200 after the distributor marks it up and before tax. Anybody know how much bottles were at the Founders release day?

 

I think they were going for $23 a bottle on release day. Only 12 in a case, correct?

It might be even more than $200 a case before tax. Maybe $200-220ish a case after Buddy's puts his mark up on it

 

I'm not familiar with Buddy's prices, but yeah, this is easily going to cost 200+. I'm interested to see what he charges.

My favorite beer distributor is Duffy's in the South Hills, which is very close to my house. They have by far the best prices in the city. Excellent selection, but I doubt they'd be getting this.

Favorite thing about them is they have their price, and how many cases they have in stock on their website.

I live 30 miles east of the city. So prices around here are very reasonable at local distributors and at my buddy's pizza shop Dommy's in Vandergrift. Cheapest bottles maybe in western PA.

I always go to the wholesalers for not so limited stuff. But the super limited stuff of course goes to bottle shops, bars, and lastly beer distributors. So obviously I can't get super limited beers from the wholesalers.

 

Your buddy's place has a monster beer selection. Next time I'm out that way, I'll definitely check it out. Does he do good business?

I work two blocks from this place...stopped over at lunch and was told that he's not taking any reservations on that case. So either you guys already got to it or he has other plans...super nice guy by the way.
