More Brewing Co (2019)

I think he's implying we expect a Henna release that week. The question he's asking is will we see another release in the next 3 months, unrelated to CCBW.

There wasn't any between Smores, and the Barrel aged stuff last year and the Smores release was almost exactly 12 months ago.

 

Finally visited on Monday to pick up my Henna Marshmallow. Fiance and I had dinner there. Really liked the food. The variety was interesting and I like when places say 'eff it, here's what we make and it's good.' The interior design was very cool too. Had two beers DDH Loose Candies and DDH KISS. Really enjoyed both of them.

 

I don't like this review. You're supposed to shit on them because they make milkshake ipa's and their beer sells out too quickly.

 

But have you tried the cheese curds?!?! And no that's not a new type of IPA

 

...and another idea for Mikerphone.

 

The label would be fun, anyway!

Frooted Raspberry/Blackberry on tap though the crowler machine is on the fritz

 

Wondering if the can release is going to be a stout since they usually can Frooted but sounds like they didn’t this time?

 

I would imagine Coconut City is coming soon since that's one of the beers they brought to Wakefest last weekend.

 

More does have good food, and their Indian food options are surprisingly good too. Their samosas in particular are awesome, possibly the best samosas I've ever had. Spicy though! Probably too spicy for a lot of people.

 

Just a little caveat for anyone's expectations. If you regularly eat Indian food like I do (I married into an Indian family), you will be disappointed. It is nowhere near restaurant quality nor authentic. Otherwise, I agree with Miniditka; their food is top notch for a brewpub. Everything else has been superb and there is a decent variety. I would put them right up there with Three Floyds and Wild Onion as far as food quality at brewpubs.

 

Anyone know how busy they typically get in the afternoon with these releases? Was hoping to grab my Mallo bottles and staying for lunch.

 

Great beer and I love More; but $19 makes this an easy pass for me.

 

DDH Space Boots is my favorite IPA/DIPA beer from MoRE. Happy to see it brewed again. Wish they brewed it more frequently.

 

When is the last time you went there? It's possible they have improved. I too married into an Indian family and eat Indian food frequently, and as I said, the samosas are as good as I've had anywhere. The other stuff is merely "good," not as good as a top notch Indian restaurant, but still surprisingly good for a brew pub. I've had worse at an Indian restaurant before.

Also, they just put in a tandoor, so it seems that they are committed to improving the quality and selection of their Indian food.
