I'm sick of missing out on these releases. I have to put more time into this.

Quick question for all you truck chasers- do you put the tracking device under the rear bumper or somewhere on the top of the truck?

I think we've figured out your problem. You need to put the tracker directly on the Hop Butcher employee making the deliveries. If you've got it on the truck, you're probably too late.

 

On the employee??? Maybe in Beer Chasing 201. You'll recall from Beer Chasing 301, the standard is to implant a tracking device IN the employee.

Bitter Pops, Bottles & Cans both got several cases of each this afternoon.

 

Just to piss of some of you, I picked up a can each of Cherry and Scientist. Look for my scathing reviews by the weekend.

In all seriousness, I wasn’t going to get them but I’m going to San Diego this weekend to visit a buddy and pretty much just drink beer, so I thought these (and NvUvH) were good current things to give him a taste of. Even if they end up not quite being to my taste, I’ll be drinking them in sunny 60 degree weather.

 

I am officially pissed and entertained. Hopefully you're not packing any Mikerphone? I don't want your plane to blow up or have any sort of catastrophe.

 

Cherry is very good. That’s not much depth but it’s a winner. Not as sweet to me as Blazed Orange Milkshake.

 

Maybe I’ll tempt fate but probably not. I’m already taking an 18 Prop, 2 Zombie Dust (his request), and the PW/HB in a rather small suitcase (want to keep it small so I can carry it on while checking a very full box of beer on the way back).

Galaxy Traveling Scientist is one of the best pale ales I’ve ever had (yes including DDH Fort Point and Treehouse). This technology hop oils packs DIPA flavor in a sub 6 percent beer. Just awesome

cherry cyclone is on-par with super gnarly, it’s not game changing, it’s alright. gets better as it warms.

picked both up at grand ~3, had to ask.

 

Why? I didn’t think their product was discernably better than what we could obtain in Chicago.
