    First time at OH for a can release, impressed with how they managed it. I arrived at 6am and the line was at McDonald’s ie post wristbands, wrapped around the block and ~400th in line

    That said was around some great people, atmosphere was fun and the OH staff did a solid job telling those of us that arrived “late” what the allotments were looking like etc.

    Admit I haven’t actually tasted the beer yet, so maybe this was all a total waste of my time

    Crazy there this morning. Kind of sucks that dropping chairs the night before has become the norm/acceptable.

    Anyway Cheers to OH on an amazing 5 years. Looking forward to some more normal weeks ahead. Bring on some midweek Hop Showers.

    I certainly didn't.

    Also they eventually dropped limits to 1 4pk/bottle per person on beers that were running low. Good on em for helping make sure the beer lasts a little longer!

    My highlight of the anniversary this year was the Facebook post about the "VIP tent', proudly proclaiming "fuck yall who ain't here". I was shocked to find that the guy who posted it has a "Jobs Not Mobs" Trump cover photo.

    I'm also a big fan of the clear consensus that staying out in the cold all night for beer = you being "a man".

    The line is about 20mins now, and there is 5th Anniversary still selling at 1 case per and from my visual I saw to half pallets on the the floor, not sure if anything is in the back.

    I was curious about this when I saw pictures of chairs posted last night, this is true? People put their chairs in line the night before and show up the next morning after others have gotten there earlier yet lined up behind? That's messed up.

    A lot of guys drop their chairs the night before, go party in the taproom or Three’s until closing. Sleep for a bit in their cars. Go back to their chairs when wristbands are being passed out. Then continue to drink on the street until the release starts.

    Some people definitely need a new hobby.

    Quick notes after sharing some cans with a couple friends:

    I Miss The Old OH is awesome. It's got a that old OH smell and a bit of the abrasive taste, but with the smoothness of new OH.

    4th is good but seems to have a bit more enigma than last year.

    5th is good now but tastes like it should be total juice in two weeks.

    All Citra doesn't have as big of a juicy note in the middle as it often does. It's also less aromatic than usual. It's still really good though and maybe better than 4th or 5th.

    Haven't gotten to third.
