All have been previously released except the 2 anniversary bottles.

It is almost like buying Wine now....lol.... As mentioned above, lots of talk locally about pricing.

But yes, there will be a line out front a few hours before open on both Saturday and Sunday for these. All bottles will sell out over the weekend.

As mentioned above, only 2 bottles are new releases (One and Mostra 5th Collab). The other 5 Bottles are Archive sales from past public releases over the last year. Most have tried all 5 of these archived releases.

Biggest actual event of the weekend may be the Pastry Method keg tapping.

The reason I asked is- complaining about price after trying a beer is one thing, doing without having tried the beer is another. It appears that you haven't tried them to have an opinion on their worth.
In my opinion these are some of the best non-BA stouts I have ever had and I am willing to pay more because of that. I can get a good non-BA stout for half this price but put them side by side and that other beer doesn't taste that great anymore.

Moksa must love people like @B_Horne because if people will pay it, they will charge it.

I defend all people's rights to complain about price, and to not purchase said beers at those prices.

I don't think you are understanding what is being said, which is different from what your argument is. All @B_Horne is saying is don't pass judgement on something you haven't tried yet, nothing else. He stated that he has tried the Moksa and believes it's worth the cost.

But all Vitis said was that the prices were ridiculous, nothing about the beer?

I get the counterargument that "worth" is in the eye of the beholder. But I still maintain that the more people accept higher prices, the more prices will be higher.

I've been to Moksa and have done trades for their beers. They've all been from good to excellent (not complaining but their coffee stouts were the coffee-est stouts I've ever had). I assumed since these were collabs and 1st anni beers, they were all new. I was partially wrong about that.

Still, those are very heavy pricing. I don't need to drive a Mercedes AMG to know they are extremely expensive. I'm sure to some it's worth it. But there's so much other beer in Sac that I'm happy to pay what I consider to be a commensurate price that's within my comfort level.

Not an slam against Moksa, or telling people they are wrong, just an observation from my POV.

Just my two cents, but after having a number of their beers I just get the sense that a lot of people are hyping up Moksa just to protect their tradebait (similar feelings about Moonraker when they first opened up). I know that part of California is starting to see more and more decent breweries pop up, but it seems like Moksa was the first brewery in the area to release bottles that had a decent amount of trade value. Don't me wrong, Moksa's beers are fine, but I have seen a decent amount of homerism from locals and shooting down of criticism in FB groups and other online forums over the past year.

I wonder how early the line will start now on Saturday....

Five 1500ML Magnum Bottles will be sold for each of the 2 new releases.

I am sure there are people who inflate their comments to increase trade value. FYI, I have never traded a Moksa beer.

160+ people in line each morning (Sat & Sun) for the bottles, Both new beers Sold Out. Big crowds Sat and Sunday as well in the tap room. I just did a quick hit and run when the crowds slowed later. Seems like most had fun. A few disgruntled people online (facebook) on Sat about the lines/bottle count, ect..

The Uhaul truck in the parking lot during the weekend was pretty funny.

Had it at Holy Water. I thought Singularity was flat and a bit thin. The abv was well hidden. But I would not seek it out again. However, the EC 11 pour that come with it, THAT was crazy good!

I liked Moksa One much more than Singularity. Way better mouth feel. If One made into barrels, Daaamn!

I had Moksa 5th at City Beer and thought it was well-crafted according to style, but reinforced my belief that pastry stouts just aren't for me.
