What do people think of ddh vapor ringz? I’m a fan and I like it more than the galaxy/Nelson dual hop, even though I usually prefer the non-tosed (sorry, milk sugared) beers.

 

Perfect use of the tose, strong out the gate. I think the lactose prevents some of that first two weeks green-ness from the ddh beers. Not sure if this will develop. Probably won’t find out since I only bought a 4 pack.

 

Really enjoy it, hop presence is strong and it isn’t overly sweet like a lot of tosed offerings

Lol, mine involved running a 5k this morning, taking kid to Dr, working on new baby's room, cooking dinner and drinking a couple ipas and stouts without dying or complaining in this thread.

 

There are a lot of posts of people surprised that they like DDH Vapor Rings. I know it's the cool thing to do to shit on lactose beers in this thread, but you are allowed to enjoy them. It's okay guys. You won't lose BA street cred.

I think the “hop showering” of vapor rings in here was a little aggressive. My expectations were set too high. Great beer, but with 20/20 hindsight I would have taken an extra four of double citra.

 

I admit, I was lured by the sparkly glitter ringz. Damn good beer.

 

such a chill release. the tap room was crushed though. staff does a good job of getting to everyone pretty quickly and are super friendly in my experience.

had an 8oz of the all fifth everything w/ banana. 8oz was enough. i enjoyed it but could not crush a bottle to myself.

florets is great too. 6.6% is like a session IPA these days. mylar is the best its been too.

ratio is 3:1 non-lactose to lactose 4 packs that i buy. morning dhaakon is upset if he drinks more than one milk sugar beer a night

 

Sitting here watching a dad give his two kids, maybe 4-6 years old, sips of all the 4oz pours he’s gotten, including stouts. Probably won’t kill them, but geez.

 

Not cool at all. Should be banned from other half.

 

Just cracked an ACE from last week’s release. Might be the best beer of the batch. Come at me.

Jesus, bad enough he has kids that age in OH (not exactly the kid-friendliest brewery), but sharing his beer. Nice. I guess he’s prepping them at a young age for the early morning linelyfe bottle shares in their future.

 

Wham Whams is so good, I’d drink that beer by the growler. I also really enjoyed the Mortalis As above, so below. Hoping some collars are brewed with these guys.

 

There are kid-friendly breweries. OH (especially on a weekend) is not one of them. Take the kids to Folksbier or something.

 

I mean I don’t have an issue letting kids try beer (although with this sort of strength and at that age maybe it’s more of a dip your finger type thing; and maybe only the once) - I think it’s probably overall a good thing to educate / be open about alcohol. But yeah OH is not really a place to take kids. It’s a newborn-on-a-Thursday place at best. Once they can walk that place is game over.
