Just got home, had a BA Batch 9000 and a Black Note with a few samples of This One Goes to 11 and Oracle. Great event! Thanks BLB and Bell's! Keep the great events coming!

Also just got home. Really tasty beers. Thanks to Jason from Bells & BLB. Like Lionel Richie, I could drink Black Note all night long.

Just got back from there and had an Oracle, BA Batch 9000 and Black Note. I am a stout guy and have had Black Note before so I got the delicious beer I expected. I am not a huge DIPA fan, but Oracle was very good. I thought it was a very approachable DIPA without an insane amount of bitterness. The BA Batch 9000 was a treat, caramel, toffee and some dark fruits with the bourbon, that is a Strong Ale I can love; the best strong ale I have had the great fortune of tasting so far.

    New to BA btw.

Also recently returned home. Came for BA #9k, stayed for BA #9k! It's sad, but with how frequently Black Note has been on tap last several months, I didn't even give it a second thought. Two BA #9k and a 'This one goes to 11', I bid my farewells.amd went home.

I passed on the 'This One Goes to 11' having had it on Saturday at a tasting; it was fantastic if I remember right. While drinking some of their fantastic libations my roommate and I were discussing how we feel Bell's is often overlooked as a great brewery. Oh and the Bell's sunglasses and bottle opener were awesome too!

BA Batch 9000 was insanely good. I could have stayed all night. Or at least until I slid under the table.

Thanks for coming out everyone, glad you got to try some tasty beer! I'll be leaving them all on till about 3 this afternoon and then I'll be switching them out. Hopsolution will stay on and then I'll rotate through the rest (none blew) as they kick.

    Thanks again!

Wait wait, none of those kegs kicked?

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

Which begs the question...when will BA Batch 9000 re-appear to finish it off? Not able to make it out this week, but really want to try that one...

BA 9000 made Black Note taste like a watered down stout with a hint of barrel presence.

Hey, I did my part. I had one of each. Thank God the missus was there to be DD. :grinning:

And I have to agree with iadler. Black Note was very disappointing after starting with Batch 9000. Had to start there though, because we didn't arrive until 8:30 and I was worried it would've been kicked at any minute.

OK, so I just took them all off except BA Batch 9000 and Hopsolution. I'll keep them updated in the "What's on tap?" Thread.

    Thanks!
