Don’t sell it short. There’s also a lot of people complaining about people complaining about lactose.

I visited my brother in Wisconsin for xmas, and brought him some OH. My 2yr old nephew is sticker crazy, gave him the sticker off a can we shared the first day, he loved it. The next morning he asked me if he could have another "big sticker", told he had to wait until lunch before I would drink another sticker drink.

This is the type of positive content the OH thread needs.

Seems like both are true. I just wonder if they realize that they are under no obligation to buy and drink these lactose beers that they don't care for.

Did he prefer the ‘tosed or non-tosed (aka pure) stickers?

the sticker thing is a slippery slope. my daughter would go into the recycling bin and peel each OH sticker off and put it on her dresser. One day she was told to make a map of her room for school. She handed this in to her teacher... a map that showed her bed, closet, stuffed animals, dresser, and "beer stickers". I still feel like that teacher is judging me every time I see her.

Well, as a teacher I would definitely be judging you...based on what percentage of the stickers were ‘tosed beers.

They just did that yesterday! I hope this is a trend. And for the weekend DDH Space Diamonds was tasting great. Although, I had to switch my beer choice when my first choice was a lacto-beer. (Lactose Intolerant and didn’t have my Lactase pills) Damn confusing Dream/Day Dream naming.....

If we're going to complain about something, we should complain about the lack of Barleywine.

Damn. Glycerin is so good. Blueberry/Peach already kicked by 4:45pm.

Wondering if that is because it's a snow day, or the OH/HV hype midday-degen demand. It was crowded when I arrived at 4:45.

Anyway, they put on Mango/Pineapple after the Peach/BB kicked, which was amazing. I would place that above Apotheosis which is their highest rated (was nearly a 4.7??), and Holy Icon was disappointing and in third (though still solid)

All the OH IPAs on tap were superior to the other offerings though...again...we are lucky. Though, they put on Mass x Acceleration right after I left, really wanted to try that.

Not sure if linking to an article will work, but thought this might be of interest regarding the sour/wild/spontaneous program up north:

Also, if the hop showers frig isn’t happening in Brooklyn, can we push for a Mylar mini-frig? I’d be happy with a constant supply of that stuff.

Had my last 5th Anny can last night, and while I think it is the lesser of all anniversary beers since the 2nd (I never had the first), it was markedly better after two weeks in the fridge. Which just reminds me that buying an OH IPA you haven't had before isn't a risk at all, if you're willing to be patient as the beer develops.

Also, out of habit I left a tiny bit of beer in the can but realized there was no reason to because it's been ages since I've seen either floaties or sludge in my beer. Pretty awesome that our local brewers have been able to overcome that unpleasantness.

Let it sit longer and you'll get some sludge.
