Just cracked an Abduction batch 44 to drink while watching some Boardwalk Empire. This is my first beer by Pipeworks. Great stuff. I also picked up some Blood of the Unicorn and Glaucus, I'll give em a shot tomorrow.

so i've now had both the new batch of blue lady and well read temptress. i would have to say that my favorite would be the well read. more lactic sourness and there was some off-ness possibly in the blue lady, even though i was very excited to try it. maybe it was all in my head after reading everything i read, or maybe that's how blueberries smell/taste in a sour beer. i really can't be sure.

well read was awesome though. i need to get more. only problem is there's so many other releases i need to get my hands on......

    FwB e-mail coming tomorrow morning.

Citra Ninja will be available at both WLV & Binny's Lincoln Park tomorrow. (wider distribution will continue all week)

Last Kiss & Blue Lady is also at both FwB locations.

We're honing in on our Berliner Weisse recipe and have made a few slight tweaks with this 4th batch... Cranpire Crantasy (a cranberry one for x-mas) and the base of the Berliner is much better than our previous 3 attempts... still holding strong to a sour mash technique at this point. So maybe after Cranpire we'll do a unfruited one (at a lower price of course) so you can see what we are working with as a base, now that we've honed it in.

Ah, but there is a bit of editing involved as well!

I figured since the guys at Pipeworks already notified our fine community of the upcoming releases, duplication of the info sent out to FwB members would be unwelcome.

nope. we've been working like stupid crazy people... we have 10 tanks now and just did all that expansion to the suburbs, plus all these tastings and the rev beer dinner... bit too much for us to chew on at the moment. I got glassware order in today and am at the maproom right now responding to blue lady e-mails right now. Our WAN IP address at the brewery is still blocked by our Belgian server... so our e-mail server is blocking us at the brewery and I haven't had time to fix that... so the maproom has been our temporary office. Will finish the Blue Lady e-mails tomorrow no doubt (i think). So far i've responded to like 30% of the blue lady e-mails. But you haven't missed anything yet.
