Goose Island Bourbon County Stout in CT

    I just stopped to pick up some beer at the Branford Wine location by the Big Y when the nice lady told me they had just got some BCBS. Naturally I had to pick on up. They only got a case...it's gonna go fast.


    I've never had it. Looking forward to cracking open a bottle.

    Oh. My. Gawd.

    I'm not a bourbon drinker so I wasn't sure how this would go down for me. Delicious that's how. It feels so good in the mouth. There is a lot happening here that more knowledgeable BAs can speak to. For me it's simply an amazing stout.

    iiiiiinteresting! So much for those distributors saying we'll get it when we get it...glad to see the BCBS is at least hitting a few parts of the state. Here's hoping fairfield county will see some!

    Coastal Wines has BCBS now, if you haven't already driven down to NY and picked some up a month ago.

    Yeah Coastal has it at the highest price I have seen so far.......$26.99
    I paid $22.99,another store I called said 21.99..............:slight_smile:

    I wondered how much Coastal would be. I think it was $22.99 at Branford Wine. Their prices on Founders are better there too.

    Thanks for the heads up btw,nice husband/wife owners there.Talked beer with them for a while.
    Went to purchase my 4pk. saw 3 single bottles at register,they said you bought the missing one...lol.
    So I picked up a single as well.Very good prices throughout the store.

    Not sure when New Eng. Bev. will get it,(I called yesterday-no-go btw)but I do know they have a waiting list going.
