I don’t know how to link Instagram posts on this windows 97 message board, but check out the latest Grimm post. Looks like the collab hangout with OH really rubbed off.

Grimm to Sam - “we have this really cool Pop series, we had tons of different flavors, they’re nice and easy to drink with a low ABV...”

Sam - ::cuts off Grimms midway through:: “nobody fcking wants that now. Load that thing up with some of my hydro ‘tose, jam it with more fruit so they can barely stomach it, and leave them with a stay tuned for more to keep those suckers frothing for your next offering”

Jam the Radar on tap today, $7 for 8oz is cheaper than their stouts and its almost certainly better.

They had a tap takeover last summer in LBI, wouldn't read much into it

Other half has like 20 taps on right now. I really don’t want to do the math. But you can get a couple rye or malty ipa’s from bissell brothers, a few non lactose ipas. A 2018 bottle logic Jam the Radar. 5th anni coffee. This is ridiculous. 5 cans. A pastry stout that is a poor man’s 5th. Literally changes every day.

Also double Medusa was the worst beer I’ve had in a long time and I don’t think it’s poorly executed. Wtf is that.

+1 on not liking Double Medusa... It's not a hop for me, it has notes of Sharpie markers.

Which Bissell IPAs are “malty?” I’ve always found them to be extremely hoppy (although I admit I haven’t had every beer they’ve made).

OH taking a shot a BA with 5 non-tosers! Maybe they do like us?? “Did I make myself clear?” A West Coast IPA? Damn! They are testing us. Maybe they got tired of cleaning the bathrooms from the lactose intolerant people like myself.

The west coast IPA and Gold Bangles sound great, but I'm more surprised someone beat @NewmansOwn to posting the IG post.

Man I feel like Tropical Crumble would've worked well as a stout, the acidity up front clashes with the rest of the flavor profile. I really like the graham cracker, coconut, and macadamia on the finish but I'm a little put off by the initial burst of sourness.

It was the end of the day so I was just flicking through Instagram rather than do more work for the day.

But but but....it could have been a no-tose release!! @jrnyc may just watch me eat my words as I try a few of these at OH on Saturday after forswearing them and their godforsaken milk sugar and same-tasting DIPAs.

In other news, OH’s 5th anniversary IPA tastes like someone mixed some pineapple, peach and mango juice, ran in through a randall of dank weed, and mixed in pretty smooth vodka to make it 10% ABV. Someone remind me why I paid so much for a college punch bowl to be put in cans? :sunglasses:

The west coast IPA and barrier collab sound awesome. I’ll definitely be hitting my first release in about 2 months.

I’ll probably get there around 1PM if you guys are planning on meeting up at the taproom.

Update: just cracked open my second bottle and it's much better. Carbonation much more in line with what I've come to expect. The banana present without being the star of the show. Mostly getting the coconut and macadamia with everything else playing a supporting role.

Also, opened a BA Snowbirds over the weekend to split with a friend and I didn't find it to be holding up that well. All of those brownie batter/fudge notes from when it was fresh are on their way out, along with the almonds. Was getting mostly barrel and coconut. Not awful, but not matching the initial impression/excitement. I'm seriously considering putting my last bottle on MBC to break even, at the very least.
