Can anyone going this afternoon relay how crowded the taproom is? Jwakefield wasn't too bad, surprisingly. Would like to try to go after work if everything is still on tap.

Is $5 for 4oz of Monkish normal? Seems crazy to me.

Not too bad there right now. All the Monkish is 4oz only so they should last for a little while.

Took me way to long to realize this but Monkish in the building 2 weeks before PastryTown can only mean one thing right?

Yeah I would imagine we're gonna be seeing a ton of collabs coming down the pike. I would also imagine that we'll be seeing a commonfolk Snowbirds 3.0 around the same time as Pastrytown given the fact that they differentiated that the bottle detailed for the event is the VIP version.

Also curious to know if the barrel-aged Pastrytown bottle is gonna be a previous release or something completely new.

I'll take it a step further and assume that the snowbirds 3 release will be the thursday before pastrytown, just like sb2 and green city. i already put in the request for the vacation day :sunglasses:

I'd love for that to be the case. That would mean I could grab my VIP bottles along with the regular stuff and not have to lug around my allotment during Pastrytown.

What is the most common situation with cans on a Sunday not following an event like Pastrytown? My wife and I will stopping by for the first time on Sunday 03/24 hoping to grab some cans and draft pours. It looks like they have ramped up mid-week releases recently so even if they get emptied out for the festival the midweek and Saturday release the following week may be enough to restock the coolers?

Any other must do`s in the are? We have Three`s, Interboro and Grimm on the list

There are a lot of variables at play, but your "standard" Saturday release usually means that MAYBE one can from that day doesn't last whereas everything else is available Sunday and often throughout the week.

As far as breweries go, you're pretty much covered. If you're looking for good restaurants near OH I would definitely recommend Hometown BBQ. Speaking as someone born in Texas that still takes periodic trips back there I can say with confidence that Hometown is better than any BBQ I've had there. Everything they do is great, but the sausage, lamb belly, and pastrami bacon are next-level.

I saw a couple barrels of BA Millibars outside the brewery the other day. Hoping thats not the VIP Bottle but who knows...
