Fat Head’s Brewery (2019)

They did say it's not Clickbait. It's a new beer.

 

They have a post on Twitter that says “something strange to be announced tomorrow “

 

I feel like the first word is going to be ‘Strange’ if you look at the blurred images in the calendar release promo. You can ALMOST see it. It almost helps to look at it further, than close. Either way, we’ll see soon enough. Who cares, as long as it’s awesome.

 

Which it will be

 

Strange Magic IPA confirmed via Facebook and IG. No details other than the name.

Anyone know what (if anything) Fat Heads has in the barrels? I have to think with the new facility that they have a few goodies resting.

 

@SomethingClever just grabbed some at Mack’s in Parma today. Thought it was odd since Fat Heads didn’t mention anything on social media (recently)

I was in and out like an overweight out of shape Fat guy Olympian... I mean Ninja, yea ninja. Next time though, I’m up that way I will yell at you. Literally, depending on how much I’ve had to drink I might yell at you.

 

Was at the brewery saturday hoping for bottles there, but they were sold out at the time, looking forward to grabbing this

 

Same thing happened to me. We were in the area and stopped by for dinner and bottles but an hour wait for a table and sold out of Benjamin Danklin bottles. Bummer!

 

Hour wait at the new place?!

So is the Saloon still a madhouse 24/7 or is the Beer Hall drawing people away?

 

They had Danklin on tap last Wednesday (bottles available then, too). It was really good.

Yeah, the new place is always busy... Hour is not uncommon, i'm sure. The only time I ever go is for lunch during the week around noon when it's super quiet (benefit of working next door!).


For those who actually enjoy lagers, the Mill Stream Lager on tap right now is amazing. A helles/pils type hybrid, unfiltered. I say it all the time, but Fat Head's produces the best German Lager in the state IMO. Completely underrated in that regard. Always my go-to when I stop in.

 

Just stopped at the brewery a half hour ago and they had Danklin' stocked up to-go. They are also currently canning Jack Straw Pilsner on the canning line... So that is hitting very soon.

 

What the hell happened to “year round” Starlight? I figured it would be out before Jack Straw. Also, I agree on the lagers, but Wooly Pig is not far behind. Their Schwarz is actually better. So was the Oktoberfest. Doppelbock on right now is pretty solid.
