I can get on board with a RIS or American Brown. Lager could cool too, maybe a Cali Common or Marzen.

Lambic. First poll will be "Should we call it Lambic, Lambic-esque, Lambic-inspired, or the name of your location with an -ambic suffix?"

    I'd be all-in for a lager, or a Kölsch-style......if I had capability to cold crash/ferment.

BTW @Supergenious you're in the running for the best pairing of user name and avatar.

I'd be down for a Marzen but I think we've avoided lagers since not everyone has the capability to lager beer.

Lagers are a passing fad. Brut IPA is where it's at in the long term.

The hands on the other foot. No Brut. The NorCalKid says no Brut. Not a fan.

    Lager or Brown/Porter

I second this. Passing fad for sure. Sadly, spiked seltzers seem to be gaining popularity.
    Averagely perfect spiked seltzer?

For a couple of the different AP beers I took the effort to link each poll to the next one because I thought it was interesting to be able follow the thought process from beginning to end. It would be great if someone took the time at the end of an AP beer and created one post that linked to each of the posts in sequence.
I nominate @riptorn to do this for the next round

I vote brown ale or spiked seltzer

    A couple points in fact......
First: Your suggestion of a single post with links to each of the Poll threads was (part of) what I had in mind if an AP section in the Recipes forum was created.

Second: I started writing this post and then stepped away (for [some?] beer/s). Before the Vikester made his verbose and eloquent post (still trying to wrap my head around the complexity), I had already composed the following:
"I’ll agree to that without even waiting for the motion to be seconded, but with caveats:
    1) I must still be living and with all my faculties about me (such as they are), and 2) it’ll cost each person that brews the beer, a beer to me."
At least one of those is mandatory.:sunglasses:

Spiked Seltzer haha. My wife likes those. They are not bad for a change of pace. A little easier on the waistline.

Maybe a lawnmower beer. Maybe a dampfbier.

Brown ale doesn't do it for me.

From the dialogue so far, I'd be interested in:

    1) Pale stout - thinking the debate / discussions over creating a classic style with one of its classic characteristics significantly modified would be really interesting
    2) Dampfbier
