I’ll never understand these tap takeovers starting in the morning during the midde of the work week, with 2/3 of the offerings near 10% ABV or higher. (I know, not everyone works M-F but still...) I just know I’m about to take some hits for this comment.

 

I mean, that's the nature of these things right? Do them sometime when the place would be empty otherwise.
If you're pretty packed at night anyway no sense in hosting a great event for a fractional increase in revenue (apologies if this post was more rhetorical than serious). But yeah, I at least tend to understand special takeovers in NYC or Philadelphia being mid week and daytime a lot more than the suburbs given the jobs and sheer volume of people. I always worry too about drunk drivers. I mean who wants to DD friends to that, better yet middle of the day? Maybe some people have amazing husbands/friends/wives who are both willing to put up with crowds and not miss the beer. Hard sell though. Probably won't appreciate you either after the 4th 10 percent beer you down.

 

I just cannot understand why every tap takeover is either in North or South New Jersey. What's up with Middlesex County? Probably one of the more populated counties in the state but nari a tap takeover to be found

 

I’ve thought about that too at some point, although I’m sure I don’t know where all the tap takeovers take place.

 

Cloverleaf just has more tap takeover's than most beer bars and publicizes them better so it may seem that way but there are tap takeovers down that way. I've been to a Kane tap takeover at the Gusto Grill in East Brunswick and I know Carton has had tap takeovers down in Monmouth/Middlesex/Ocean County also.

 

The Nip-N-Tuck in Long Branch deserves a tap list like this for the Kane Anniversary parties!

To an extent; nonetheless, should have simplified the interest: Kane is very good with blended, dark aged, barreled shenanigans. In essence, one might expect some vinous grape, date, fig complexity out of this endeavor

 

Blue Hotel Cans today per IG post, mentions still some Vengeful Heart and Imperial Sneakbox (aka SBX) cans left but sounds like those are getting low and will prob sellout today.

 

Just hoping BA Mexican is still on when I get there
