Month of the reruns indeed. After See Translation last week, Pocket Wrench returned today. I'll be trying this out for sure. I might pick up a pack of wrench as well, I've been craving NEIPA even though its not usually my style. The hype is so real and my proximity is so close that it overpowers my agnosticism towards FOMO.

side note: this is definitely a small NY brewery. Four bucks for a pint of sessionable beer. Oof. The pricepoint is what keeps me from being a regular customer here. Wrench and Pocket Wrench cost the same.

Pocket should probably be around $14/4 pack, but IA can sell it at this price point and it will sell out. That's just the state of craft beer in our high cost of living area. Growler and Gill was always a bit pricey, but they're basically at NYC level price points now and are still packed on weekend evening. At least Cable still has reasonable pricing.

Either they’re making more of Wrench or recent complaints are keeping somebody people away. I’ve been seeing it everywhere lately and it used to fly out of stores. Or it’s just not “new” now.
Also, why is everyone using “price point” (mentioning it because it’s used above a lot here) even when “price” will do just fine? The price of a pint, not price point! Sorry, it’s a pet peeve, just being crotchety.

following through on my craving with some pics. Much to my elation, the Wrench was also fresh. I love the cheeky switch of New England with Northeast.

Anyone know when the new location will be opening? I think I remember reading Spring 2019 a few months back.

If this is anything like GoJoe (brewed with orange extract) from last year, then I'll have to pass....

Must be high in demand as they upped the price to 20/4pk. That's a no thank you from me.

Bought a 4 pack. It tastes like a beermosa, so pretty much as advertised. I kinda wish I had it on draft because this definitely isn't my thing.

I always ask for a sample before taking beer to go.

Quick question: has anybody noticed diacetyl in the Cut Once? I finally had my first one this past Friday and couldn't get over the buttery quality, so I was just wondering if this has just creeped up over time or not.

I didn't notice any diacetyl, but I only ever had it on draft.

No diacetyl for me either in the very fresh cans I had, and I have gotten better over the years at tasting it (for better or worse lol)

Thanks- I was actually hoping to hear if there was a difference between 'very fresh' and now. I bought mine when they were released, but put them aside till the end of the month.

Hmmm, diacetyl coming into packaged beer is not a good thing to hear.

This beer was refreshing and delicious as all hell. And no, no diacetyl at all in mine.
