500 ml bottle.
Moderate pour yields a one inch off white head over an amber body with very sticky lacing. Nose of pear, grapefruit, oak, and slight funk. Taste mirrors nose with a sort of white wine tart finish. Very nice feel and overall, a highly enjoyable offering from Toronto. Cheers!

The beer tastes way better than it sounds.

 

Fieldwork In Bloom, a 8.2% DIPA with Citra & Lemondrop. Canned 2/7/2019.

Another one courtesy of @KevSal. I've had this beer a couple years ago on tap, but this iteration is definitely much better than I remember. Very citrus forward, soft and juicy, but still a some bitterness to remind you this is a DIPA at its core. That being said, the juicyfruit yeast is pretty prominent and is a detractor from the overall experience. Not enough to spoil it, but I wish it were more subtle.

Green Man Trickster IPA

 

All day off chores done and ready for a couple DIPAs.
First (and fourth from yesterday's THBC surprise):



Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch egg shell colored head over a hazy/murky light golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and bit of herbal/floral aroma as well with a hint of white grapes. Taste is where this shines for me with wonderful flavors of tropical fruit, sweet citrus, and Sauvignon Blanc grapes with a dry finish of citrus pith and slight pine resin. Nice feel and overall, another solid DIPA from Charlton, MA.

I have but one more beer review/rating to go to hit the 1,000 mark. Sadly, I do not have a Veil or Triple Crossing beer on hand that I have yet to rate. But I do have a Virginia beer. So I guess it is a go.

Pretty sunrise this morning. It's been a nice day in southern New Mexico.

 

Finally getting around to putting all the tax paperwork together for the accountant. I'm realizing why I always push it off. Time for a beer!

 

I just worked 24 hours in a row. I have to go back in at midnight. I’m so wiped, I’m not sure I should have another, so this’ll probably be it. This is delicious.

 

I am an accountant and still procrastinate doing my taxes. Sadly, I usually wait until almost the last minute. Not a good example for an accountant to set.

At least I do not have to do my kids taxes anymore. Once they finished college (both are CPAs), I said my job is done although they still ask me a lot of questions like I really know the answers after being out of the game for so long.

I like your idea about having a beer. I am gonna do that now.
