Nope. There are a few ways it can happen, too.

I have three more left, so I'll report back when I've had another, but there was definitely a buttery undercurrent to my first one.

I'm not an expert taster by any stretch, but I picked up some unwanted banana flavor in my one can.

We're getting towards a new season, and you know what that means, new Landscape Lager!
Welcome Spring Landscape. This Pale Honey Bock, 6.7% ABV, finishes dry with a hint of sweetness. It’s light enough to have you dreaming of those warm days, with a malt backbone to keep you warm when its not. Brewed with Germantown Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts from @hudsonvalleymalt and Cascade and Glacier hops from @pedersenhopfarm. It also features Autumn and Spring honey from right here in the Hudson Valley. It’s the spring lager you were waiting for. $16/4pk, NYS distro only. Not only does this beer drop this Thursday (3/6 at 4pm) but its also Pitch Thursday! Grab a beer and come experience the music of Matt Garrison and the Colorscapers. Plus, ten percent of the all sales benefit @sloopclearwater a nonprofit that has been a champion of our beautiful Hudson River for fifty years!
New art, new music, new beer, what more could you ask for?

Cant wait for this to make it downstate. Loved the other two versions of the “Landscape” series so far.

Technically this is the fourth one. Summer Landscape, the first, was quite nice but not on the same level as the other two, imo.

Definitely missed that one. Autumn was my favorite but Winter was only behind by a miniscule amount.

Winter was great so I'm expecting this to be as well. Hopefully they'll brew Autumn again, missed that one. Love märzens and rye beers, so sounds like my kind of brew.

TODAY (3/14 at pm) we drop VERKTøY Norwegian IPA! This was a fun one for us, we got to play around with some fast-moving Norwegian farmhouse yeast to add bright fruity notes and doubled up on flavor with a BRAND NEW hop variety called Lotus that pulls in serious muscat grape and lychee notes. On top of it all, we did it with our upstate buds @thinmanbrewery and @beltlinebrewing . This drop is DRAUGHT ONLY and will see limited local distro but we will be filling crowlers ($12/32oz) on site! Skoal!

Stock up for the weekend with this fine selection of cans available in our tap room! We just opened our doors and Jamie and Mark are slinging pints til 9. What's that looming in the background you ask? Why, it's our new @foedercrafters 50BBL tank with a stainless steel conical bottom. This tall boy stands at 15ft and is just the first part of some of the seriously cool things we are plotting for this upcoming season. Stay tuned for more details!

It's another solid IA lager. It's got spice and the finish is bitter and sweet from the honey. I wish it was a bit more bready, but still really enjoyable.

Anyone try the Norwegian IPA? Cable has a keg, so I'll be picking up a growler later today.

Not surprisingly, another IA stunner. Sweet, malty, bready smell. The taste is not far off, with the honey the star right away and a nice bready, bitter, snap on the finish. Thick too.

Picked up a 4-pack early last week. I'll definitely be cracking the first can this weekend...now that it's actually Spring.

The 3/6 batch of torque wrench is their best batch yet IMO .

That’s good to hear since I literally just bought a four pack at the store. Was hemming and hawing because there was a big selection.
