Brouwerij West (2019)

I said hi to Vito also! Was at the bench near the entrance, since I didn't expect to stay as long as I did. Basically did it on my way home (the LONG way around) from Costa Mesa to LB to pick up cans. Robert convinced me to stay for a big pour...and then my friend showed up. All in all, I only stayed about half an hour before I dipped out and headed home.

I did probably see you though, it was empty in BW on Friday.

 

I remember seeing somebody sitting on the bench near the entrance. 2 guys. Walked by to use the restroom before heading out with a couple of 4pks.

 

Opened my first can last night. The Lynyrd Skynyrd song That Smell of skunk weed/grass comes to mind. But didn’t get any of that skunk taste. A dank Nelson citrus hop flavor which will only get better. Yes, this one is very good on draft and out of the can.

 

Does anyone know if cans are still available?

 

Scott, Vito did mention that they didn't can that many, less than the 80 cases estimated. Around 60 in the end.

 

Yeah, saw that but was hoping to pick some up this week.

If anyone has extras, let me know.

Good move Bud. I got 3 on Friday. Just in case. Glad I did. I hate the drive to BWest.

 

It's like the epic, awful trip down the 91 from OC to Monkish except farther.

 

I fear for my tires every time I go near the construction mess that is the new Bridge.

And just the roads there in general.

I thought my first taste of Noble Pale Ale and IPA was sometime in 2010. And it wasn't that good. When did Noble first open? 2009?
