I've heard rumor that 4-packs/6-packs of all Parish beers are going to hit stores in Houston on Friday 3/1.

Anyone else heard the same thing?

I heard “spring.” This was back in Jan. When they first hit the market.

I went to a couple of the release parties here and was told March, so 3-1 sounds good to me. Keep an eye on Spec's twitter and check out Total Wines website, they keep it pretty current.

They are here. Smith street has GITM, Envie, Nova Vert, Reve, South Coast and CaneBrake. Some of the Total Wines have product along with some of the HEB's. Have at it

2-09-19 date on ghost. Don’t know why it sits in a warehouse for 3 weeks.

It turds up the shelves now in Baton Rouge. I'm lucky to grab some ~3 weeks old these days.

Ghost should do well as it seems to have good trade value.
I think Envie would sell well as a reasonably priced ($9/6er, i believe) of hazy.

^all supposing, of course, that the product makes it to Houston with a reasonable degree of freshness.

I got mine at HEB, still delicious at almost a month old.

I hope that Parish doesn’t send so much that it sits on the shelf and then realize HTown was a mistake and only send product a few times a year. It’s awesome I can walk into a grocery store and grab some Ghost or Reve but just don’t want it to sit like everything else. Don’t even get me started on warehouse sitting on beer for a month before releasing it...

From what Ive gathered there are 2-25 bottles out there at our "better" places to buy craft.

At the secondary beer locations (i.e. Kroger, etc.) bottles are dated 2-9

Yeah I have found this (GITM) in my hometown a few times and it doesn't age well on the shelf. I pretty much won't waste my money on it if it is 2 months old. And no it isn't a freshness thing, it simply isn't any good. Envie on the other hand I have had great luck with. A couple of bottles got pushed to the back of my fridge on time and they were 4 to 5 months old, and still drank better than anything I could get my hands on in Houston. And that Reve, man it is a really nice coffee beer, zero bitterness/astringency from the coffee
