I’ll reply with my obligatory “expensive” and “overpriced” are two different things. I agree it’s not overpriced but for me personally, the price gives me pause. Basically $23 a pint is hard for me to justify, especially when I’d have to buy three.

 

Completely understandable. I think many here (and even more elsewhere) agree. I'm only saying that a product definitely isn't "overpriced" in general if it sells out, let alone sells out within minutes. That implies that it's actually underpriced relative to what consumers would pay for it, obviously.

 

I lend to disagree on the "underpriced" portion but agree with the rest.

but this brings up the age old question..when will enough be enough as far as pricing.

another question, if this was canned. Would we pay $50 for a mixed 3pack?

FWIW, the Magnify/Horus collab stouts (YYKM) were good although not barrel aged. I've generally liked Kane stouts more so expect I'll enjoy these. I think ANTEAD is part of the base recipe for these (pls correct me if wrong).

Yeah as the post above me said its his Goshawks base and the ANTEAD base. IMO YYKM was at least 85% Kyle (Horus) if not more. Pairing Kyle and Mike and the Kane crew making a collab stout its going to be great. Been waiting on this since the day the posted they brewed. Fingers crossed!

I think it helps to have super fast internet. I do it from my office and never have a problem. Started refreshing at 1159, as soon as the green button came up, put it in my cart and checked out immediately.

 

i do the same from work computer.

this one seemed to be easier then previous

 

i got it immediately, the gods were in my corner, but my buddy cousin and gf all didnt get it

 

I put it in my cart and then decided against it, I wish it wasn't such an ordeal for me to get it otherwise I probably would have despite having tons of beer I still need to drink.

 

It still blows my mind how quickly it goes to unavailable and then stays unavailable for 3-4 cart cycle times afterwards. Like why are people putting it into their cart and then failing to checkout on time, and not just the people the first time around, several consecutive people after that too.
Whatever, got my set, wished it was 1 bottle at 3pp rather than 3 at 1 but beggars cant be choosers

 

assuming that was done because bottle is different. Also it could be people who are using a program to catch tickets and then aren't checking it out or its not auto checking out

 

Extremely easy for the third time in a row for me.

 

Despite my reservations I tried anyway. Barely even made it to the order now button. When I did it didn’t go through. Almost every refresh said unavailable until sold out at 12:23. I am 0 fer on all Kane internet sales haha. Oh well I was iffy on the price anyway.

 

Hey at least I saw the green button this time. It was unavailable after I clicked on it, but making progress here folks. I feel good about the next one!
