Might? Dude, we're gonna be fighting over ADWTD.

Or doing the "FUCK, I GOTTA GO" dance together waiting for the restroom.

Or, ordering the breakfast burrito at Fantastic.

Gotta start planning ride and logistics.

Maybe they just like their lot. Considering it sold out in minutes, Monkish could easily charge $125-150 and rent a space with the extra if they wanted to.

There were rumblings as early as during the festival last year that Monkish would be looking for a bigger venue this year. It obviously hasn't happened, but they were there.

That'd depend on the tap list.

Yup. I don't remember what it was but there was a beer that basically tapped by the time I got within ten people of getting my glassware. I want to say it was Westly, but I am probably mistaken.

I'll probably try to get there just for better parking and then taking an uber to get some good lunch or something....

I know they said no backpacks or big bags, so I'm wondering if I can bring a small messenger bag...

The 10 day forecast calls for sunny skies and temps in the high 60's to low 70's for next Saturday! Should be a great afternoon, look forward to tilting a few with all of you party goers.

    Cheers,

Team aged IPA, this is one month old and absolutely singing. I have enjoyed tracking the progress of this batch from day one to now, ironically this was one of their recipes that was fire right out of the gate IMO. Crack em if you still have em!

I finally got my hands on some Monkish IPA cans for the first time...14 to be exact. Drank them over 10 or so days and here's my favorites in order:

Bonita, Bonita, Bonita > Foggy Window > La Schmoove = Water Balloon Fighters > Honeycomb Hideout

Overall, I think Monkish is better than Green Cheek, Beachwood and Revision but not necessarily in another league.

Other than Honeycomb Hideout thats a pretty good representation of some of the best Monkish beers in their portfolio. I'm curious though, what is your definition of that" other league" for west coast NE styled IPA/DIPAs that you think are better ? You've listed some pretty good breweries here.

    Cheers,

A construct of my own mind it appears. I figured given the demand for Monkish beers they must be in another league...

I'm also thinking that it was a weird list for Beachwood to be included due to the sentence structure. I haven't had any Beachwood NEIPA/DIPA that has come close to anything Monkish put out with the exception of Guided Meditation and Montiki.

Anyway, we all bought tickets not even having an idea of what's on tap. But, knowing Henry and his Super Friends, I won't be disappointed.
