If you're coming all this way for Suarez, you should definitely visit Plan Bee as well. They're not far apart and Plan Bee is a unique experience.

Are uber and lyft available in the areas around Suarez? I found an airbnb in a rural area close by and want to avoid driving on the days I am visiting the breweries. I found some flights so I am going up in Mid-May.

Suarez has a room for guests to stay at (or at least they used to). Check their availability.

I don’t normally read all the descriptors on their posts - thought this may have been an April fools, but looked at some other recent releases - guess it’s not

He has to be trolling with these beer descriptions, right?! Who in their right mind reads "mushy kumquats, cellar, wet stones... and pickled watermelon rind" and thinks, I have to drink that?

Well, at least mushy kumquats and pickled watermelon rind are food items that one could have sensory experience with. But how the hell can anyone quantify/describe "cellar" or "wet stones". What kind of cellar? What kind of stone (sedimentary, metamorphic, or igneous)?:wink:

You can taste the slate in Sammy Smith's.

Yeah, you can taste something. But unless you've actually licked a slab of slate it's all just supposition.

Used to have a slate sidewalk outside my old place, you couls smell the taste of slate after a summer thunderstorm... Also spring water definitely takes on a mineral taste.
