Sorry, just harkening back to a really old “bad trader” thread where someone accosted you for not hiring a PI company to discern his favorite type of beer, and then include an ultra-rare version of said beer type as an extra.

Your fundamental mistake there was including beer as an extra. You should have sent a handtruck instead.

Hand truck probably would have done the trick! -- although, I have to thank (or blame) BeerAdvocate for teaching me wtf a hand truck is (particularly in the Tree House threads), because that term is foreign around these parts

 

Boss Ryeway crowlers are on at both locations today if anyone is looking to drop a bomb on their evening get-together

Doing that while I’m out of town sucks. What doesn’t suck is this crowler of Double Boss Barrel Jacket I just cracked open!

 

Straight Jacket finally hit Michigan distro and I was able to get a 4pack, this stuff is incredible.

 

Finally got my hands on a 4 pack of Boss Ryeway, completing my totally ridiculous goal of obtaining at least two cans of all the Deep Woods releases this year.

I can't say it enough. IMO, Rev has gone from a solid Chicago brewery in their offerings to a whole new level. From the 12 oz. format, to the unbelievable one-offs and events, to their excellent flexibility in offering crowlers of the crazy good one-offs, it's simply been awesome and a lot of fun.

Cheers, Rev. You all deserve some serious props for all you did this past year.

 

Anyone know of spots that may have got a keg of jamonilla for st patty’s day? Or if it’s available to go in crowler a at rev? @Veliksta1

Checking on Untappd/beer menus I only saw rev and Whole Foods Wheaton recently.

Hey Folks - Couple updates for you:

• Tomorrow we're going to allow crowlers ($25) of Filibuster, our Four Roses barrel-aged Wheat Wine at both locations.

• We're also canning a new hero that I'm excited about called Cryo-Hero, which uses citra, mosaic, simcoe, and centennial cryo hops, which pack a bright amplified punch. We're going to have same-day packaged cans available in the Taproom.
