Another new Big Lake NEIPA. This was awesome. Great lasting rocky head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy, bready, grainy wheat/oats; some sticky, resinous, rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, not overly aggressive, minimal warmth of 6%. Awesome Galaxy/Citra profile. Very vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. One of their best ones so far. 4.1

Been on a TBDM kick myself as I see you are. Pisses me off I don't hear them more on Liquid Metal Sirius/XM

 

I have Spotify on my phone. I listened to their artist radio all day today. Basically just means they play a TBDM track every 3-4 songs, and play similar artists the rest of the time. It';s my preferred way to go all the time.

 

I'm going to do a little drinking tonight, ladies, and run through a bunch of rap records while some basketball plays in the background.

 

Lots of booze in this one, I liked this beer when it very first came out. I bought this because I wanted to try it and then @WesMantooth gave me a can. I told the place to hold me a four before I tried it, so I didn’t want to not buy it.

By no means a bad beer, but not my cup of tea.
