How are the lines for variants, if anyone is there yet? Was thinking of going late afternoon to pick some up

Line is wrapped around courtyard behind brewery.

I would say line is 45-60 minutes, moving relatively slow but a bit shorter overall than when I got here around 10:20. No line for Bird bottle pickup

Yeah I got here about 15 minutes ago and I’m just now in the middle of the back courtyard. My guess is another 20-30 minutes. I’ve seen worse but still; I hate being considered a lynelyfer

EDIT: limits lowered, 2 per variant

Just got through line. Took 45 minutes from the entry of the courtyard. The pallets are low. Unknown if there are more in the cooler. There’s also a port omna glass available.

Just called them before making the drive and they expect to run out in the next hour. Oh well...

FYI, the line is now substantially shorter, roughly 15 minutes probably

Haha I can’t deal with the crowds of a release any more either that’s why I love the eventbrite stuff. Your lynelyfer comment is spot on and I suspect the adding of tose in this years beer as well as the more dessert style variants pandered to selling better to the pastry masses. Looks like it worked out for them selling out that quick. I’m glad most of the hard to get kane stuff all seem to show up on tap at a place down the street from my house.

Yikes, guess I should have not had a lazy Saturday morning. Was only going to grab 1 of each anyways, shame

Lol thanks. It wasn’t too bad of a wait but I fucking hate feeding into a hype machine of any kind. Even when I went to Tree House a couple weeks ago there was zero line and it was a pretty relaxing experience all in all (likely because it was a Thursday). I’ve never had the Port Omna variants before though so I figured it was worth a shot.

I’m bummed they didn’t release the base version in cans. I probably would’ve bought a lot more of that than I did the diabeetus stouts (I “only” bought 1 pack of each)

I’ve only had the variants through the generosity of @SammyJaxxxx. So when did they sell out today? I’d hate to think I aborted mission for no reason, although, to be honest, some of them seemed a bit too pastry stout-esqe. I was mostly interested in the bourbon barrel one. Probably heading down again next weekend. Hopefully the saison will last.

I actually never heard them announce a sell out. They lowered the limits when I was deep in the line so probably around 12:30/1pm if I had to guess.

I skipped on that saison but I’m already kinda kicking myself for it. I was trying to keep the trip to under $100 and I had the fortitude to resist. Now I wish I caved. Whatever.

Hey, this is the first time I scored limited release cans that got sold out same day. What is this feeling? I think my non-existent neckbeard just grew a few inches. I’m getting the uncontrollable urge to purchase lawn chairs to lay at unsuspecting breweries and the urge to park at a sketchy McDonald’s in Brooklyn. So what’s the next step here? Am I supposed to sell these for $10 a can now? Force my cat into photos of the beer? Complain that it’s not as good as last years? Any neckbeard tips are appreciated

Also assumed the base was canned. Disappointed as my plan was to get a few 4s of base and 1 each of the variants. The base is so damn good. Curious to taste the amped up version on its own

any off chance that base cans pop up tomorrow and or variants on tap? no biggie if not but would be a nice consolation prize kind of thing

anywho... hitting up brunch at buttered biscuit hopefully before heading over, no matter what the situation is i'm sure they'll have plenty on tap for all in my part to enjoy... still can't but hold out hope that on the official holiday something special may occur

Website is showing the peanut butter version on for growler fills, and both peanut butter and chunky money available for pours today.

I picked up cans and haven't had the chunky monkey yet, but thus far for me its coconut marshmallow>bourbon coffee bean>mint
