Sorry. It sounds like you’re cutting BA slack here...and they don’t deserve any given the cryptic and infrequent explainations.The whole thing is kinda bizarre given the relatively long history of the magazine and the fact that so many advocates have a positive sentiment to it.

 

Did you actually receive the last issue? I'm referring to the paper and print quality, not necessarily the content or delivery schedule. The last issue or two changed the paper and print quality. They used thick plasticized paper which made the print look incredible.

 

You mean the Summer 2018 issue that arrived after Thanksgiving? At the point where so much of the content was already online, and the advertisements were for events that had passed months ago, the paper quality seemed like less of a thing to get excited for.

If going 100% digital means regular content, it probably is for the best.

 

I don't get the chance to check online very often and just found what I think is my latest BA hardcopy - from last Spring, IIRC. So I logged in to find out if maybe my subscription had lapsed.

If I need to go online, I will. Just need to know if I can still expect the dead tree version, and/or if I need to send some money to keep BA alive.

So, how can I find out if I still have a subscription?

 

I was thinking about this the other day. Working my way through #133 and didn't realize if any more issues were coming. Hadn't heard or seen anything. I'm not even sure when my subscription ends. Plus, it looks like we lost the "subscriber" status on our profiles, unless it was just me.

 

If you still have issue #132 check out the mailing label on the cover. It may have a "Renew by" field that will give you a good idea when your subscription runs out.

 

I'm almost through #133 and figured I'd search the forums for an update. Kind of bummed out now that I did! Always enjoyed a beer and quick article or two after a long day at work. Just won't be the same online. Either way, keep up the great content and best of luck.

 

Can't find where on my account page I can update my street address for my magazine delivery. Or is that the big announcement, that there will no longer be a magazine?
