    For those interested, from your classic Minnesota brewery is their 2019 plans.

    -The return of Dark Infusion; I applaud, its a damn great coffee beer.

    -The first 24 pack box of cans for Costco/Big Box stores -well yes that is quiet excellent .

    -A new Kolsch and Juicy Pale Ale , will wait and see on those two.

    ***And lastly no sign a rebirth of the superb Frostline Rye. - seriously Summit WTF.
    :angry:

    Anyway here you go kids;

    I've already picked up a 4-pack of Old Blaggard. I'm also glad to see they are bringing back the dyslexically-named Imperial Russian Stout. Both were very good the last time around.

    We'll see how they do with a juicy/unfiltered IPA. I tried a couple of their attempts -- maybe 2 years ago now??? -- as beer-hall only specials and they missed the mark, IMO. They must be confident in it, though, since they will be bringing it out on its own, and not just in the sample box. The description does sound like they are attempting to merge the haze-craze with their own style. If they pull if off, it sounds really good in its own right. It also sounds like the haze-bros may not like it with all the talk about malt flavors. As I said, we'll see.

    I'm always up for trying a craft-brewed Kölsch and Hefeweizen, so I'll give them a try. A bit skeptical of the lime and smoked peach, though. I note their classic Hefe-Weizen is missing.

    24-pack boxes? Probably not for me.

    Liked for this. Still waiting on a year-round local rye that I can fill up my fridge with.

    There is 612Brew Unrated Rye IPA. I know; I know. Also, Olvalde Ode to a Russian Shipwright and Brynhildr's Gift both use rye. I'm not sure if they're produced year-round, but they should be available on shelves at any time at least at some stores. Do go grab Waldmann Roggenbier (not year-round, but available now and great) if you get the chance.

    So is Skip Rock gone forever after April? I thought it was a year round beer. I enjoyed it as a summer beer last year. I'll miss it.

    Recommending a 612 brew? Shame, shame, shame! Besides, last time I had it, it sucked. Both the Ovalde beers are good but nothing special, & I don't see them on shelves much anymore. I'll watch for the Waldmann brew, I have not seen, though I see it's in crowlers in places I haunt. I haven't been to their taproom yet anyways, this gives me an excuse.

    A lemon/lime Kolsch? I'll try it out. I like a 'normal' Kolsch without anything added to it. But that could be killer when it's hot outside.

    Does Ovalde even exist anymore?

    Yeah not sure about the added flavors in a kolsch but hey its technically not a kolsch anyways since its not brewed in Cologne.....:stuck_out_tongue:

    Despite Summit's statement that Cabin Crusher Kölsch with Lime would be draft and sample box only, I picked up a six pack of it yesterday. I haven't tried it yet, though.
