    Saw someone in the smoked beer thread mention this as their fav. I've passed by it countless times before and finally picked one up a few weeks ago. Finally getting around to drinking it. Wow....damn good. I thought from the initial aroma after opening it was going to be a smoke bomb but no...nice balance.

    this is a pretty great, surprising!, Rauchbier. Very subtle smokiness that's indeed very balanced. You still feel like your drinking a beer and not a slim jim

    First ever. Holy crap, what a beer. Once you get past the intensity of the bourbon, the sweetness and mouthfeel are wonderful. 4-pack max at the local bottle shop, with essentially no discount for bulk. Bought 3 initially- 1 for now, 2 to store for years to follow. Got maybe 1/3 of the way through my fresh bottle and ran back to get the 4th. Awesome beer. Blarrgggg why isn't my picture of BCBS working? *noob status*[​IMG]
