Triple IPA here. Big beer with no hint of alcohol in the flavor. Dangerous style!

 

You are not an awful person. Ok, kinda close but I would be honored to share some craft beer with you as long as you do not tell anyone. If you ever get your sorry ass to Richmond let me know. I do not want to travel to Ohio to kick your ass.

On the less crazy level, let me know if there are any Richmond brews you want. Be happy to send.

 

I live on a coastal peninsula. There are people close to me into craft beer, but they are complete fucking Dbags.

 

Been gone most of the day. After a great meeting w @Ocalafox and @ @DoctorZombies visited w inlaws - red wine then back to our digs for some Rye whiskey for @vabeerguy

My oldest son is home from school today, so I took the opportunity to share some Orval with him. I was fortunate to get a nicely fresh sample, and it was outstanding. And #1 Son approved- wants me to get him more stuff like that from now on .


This was so lovely at 3 months- yin and yang perfectly encapsulated. It started out so floral, citrusy and crystalline, yet finished earthy, resiny, woody and slightly funky. As usual on the feel, quite effervescent but thoroughly substantial nonetheless.

Thankfully the store was close to home, because I can't resist getting a bunch more at this age.

 

Stopped, on my way home from work, at my new local - Pantown Brewing in St. Cloud, MN. Had a couple of new beers


WildThing NEIPA. Actually getting damn close to one. I think the main problem is the water is so damn hard here, it's hard to make this style locally.


Clodoald Doppelbock. What it lacks in aroma, it more than makes up for in flavor. Damn solid.

I also had their Peach Dream. I didn't get a picture. It was quite peachy.

Now I'm home, and, since I'm in the land of sky blue waters, a Hamm's is in order.
