I think they are taking over part of whirlyball for additional space. That cant come soon enough. Their taptoom they've outgrown 2 years ago.

Hopefully as the months go by, they'll post some updates on the new space. I'm really excited about this. I know many people like to go to places where they can hit up 2-3 breweries at once, but I would be a bit worried if I were Solemn Oath (right around the corner). The "new" factor, plus overall just better beer..they're going to take a bit of a hit I think (and it remains to be seen how the Chicago location will be..lord knows I'm not driving to the city to go drink Snaggletooth).

Anyone else get a vibe of a bubble lately? So many god damn breweries a large number of which are expanding. We are already flooded with great beer, just feels like somethings gotta give.

MORE opening two massive locations, NOONWHISTLES space is huge, MIKERBOYS are expanding and now canning. This is just to name a few.

Agreed 100%. Hopefully these guys know what they are doing. I go to Noon Whistle a decent amount and the tap room is rarely at capacity when I go. I hope it works out for all the breweries expanding, I'm sure it is a big commitment to take on.

I was a little surprised they are expanding into a facility this big but know they have basically doubled production each of last few years.

Sometimes I feel like this about craft in general but the three breweries you mentioned I think are doing it right. They are in well populated burbs far enough away from other big/hugely popular breweries and are becoming fixtures in their local community. It's their respective neighborhoods that support them for the most part. I think all were very strategic when selecting their locations and I think that will give them a leg up. That, and incorporating a solid, appealing food menu like More has done will go a long, long way in bringing in both beer geek and non-beer geek alike.

Maybe they are tired of us walking through their equipment to take a piss? Hence the bigger place?

So it sounds like possibly a taproom, but no food in the new facility?

I agree, but for me personally I basically stopped going to Noon Whistle once More was built, and have ended up going to Mikerphone much less once More got in full swing. It wasn't something planned or intentional, but for me at least More is better, closer and has food (very good food at that). The closer thing doesn't apply to everyone, so I think I've gone a little extreme especially with Noon Whistle, but I do wonder about the bubble.

I need to make my way to NW soon, I do like the place and it's probably been only once in the past year.

I may be the only one in Chicago to prefer Noon Whistle to More, I might be sentenced to solitude in the outback if I posted that on the More thread. Every time I've been to More it's been just ok

I'm pretty even on them. More has the big hitters, but so many of the interim IPAs are mediocre and there's hardly a selection. Mikerphone's easily my favorite of the three but I don't get up there much.

Hop Prism Blue is a nice clean IPA. Enjoyed it more than YBG.

Stopped in post-lunch/pre-grocery shopping for a couple of pints and some March Madness on the projector. I thought Hop Prism was solid though I prefer Turquoise to it. You Big Gummy is a median gummy to me s I was happy to have one though I passed on the 4 pack. Cubby Gummy coming up next on 4/4

Is cubby being canned finally or tap only?

Good question and I don’t have the answer. I saw it on the brew tank board and then on a release/event board. Could it be a trademark issue with canning it?

Also, when did they change the name away from Bob Ross Did It? I saw it said Rob Boss on the draft board and it’s been changed on Untappd as well

I share your sentiment, but I've been saying this for 3+ years, so I was wrong a while back. Just got back from the beer store...so many new breweries it's staggering. Seems to have accelerated.
