As long as I don't have to ship my share to someone else in Minnesota, I should be good to go for a donation.

And we're off! 32 members total, we'll pay out top 5.

    1st place = 11 boxes
    2nd place = 8 boxes
    3rd place = 5 boxes
    4th place = 2 boxes
    5th place = 1 box

Champion breakdown: (bunch of ACC homers up in here)

    Duke: 18
    North Carolina: 7
    Virginia: 4
    Gonzaga: 2
    Michigan: 1

    Good luck all!

First game is over and I'm already planning my box after losing an Elite 8 team. I guess I'm rooting for utter chaos from here on out.

Are we sending out new shoes too if Duke doesn't win? I'm assuming that's going to be the only thing that stops Zion.

Has this league always had multiplier scoring? For some reason I don't remember it in the past.

New the past couple years. I'm still on the fence on whether I like it or not. Thoughts?

@kraticus41 Thank you for running this and this is not a complaint, just a thought I had.

The points for picking the winner of the 12 over a 5 is nice in the first round, but you gain points doing that in all 4 games and only hitting on one of them (gain 8 points compared to 4 if all #5s win). And unless a 5 really goes far you don't lose that much by way of the overall bracket. Not that that is a bad strategy.

You still have to pick the winners later in the tourney to really win anyway which could go anywhere the way a few of these games have been going

I don't really love it, but I also didn't do my research into the league rules and thought it was standard scoring, so that's on me.

It's an interesting wrinkle I guess. Let's see how it all plays out.

I kind of like it simply because it adds a little wrinkle and provides a different strategy than my other bracket pools. That said if I didn’t have another one with standard scoring I’d probably vote against it

Yes, there is a separate column for bonus points that is added to your score.

Not much chatter here, pretty good tourney here thus far although the Final Four lacks some of the star power it was looking to have at the Sweet Sixteen.

For those of you who haven't tried it and want to see if you're still in the running, Yahoo has a Scenario Generator that will give you your final standing when you input how teams advance.
