Jever and Trumer some of of my favorite Pilsners - and both come in green bottles. The latter I only have when tarveling to Cali, but I always pick up Jever when it shows up in Long Island. Haven't had a bad one yet, and to the others mentioning case protection, hard to imagine others don't see it that way.

Well hey, I don't recall ever getting a skunked bottle. And I've always purchased them off the fridge shelf, not from a case.

Jever arrived in Minnesota a couple of weeks ago. I bought a case to pair up against a few of the local offerings. Should be fun!

No sir, only bottles for now.

(Packages 12.12.18, and I bought a whole case, so no skunking yet!)

I’ll make sure to pour them into a Corona branded Libbey Pint glass, and only drink them out of doors.

    Keep them blinds drawn!

Damn, 1200 miles from the east coast docks, too. (Don't think they're using the St. Lawrence Seaway > Great Lakes).

Why, I haven't seen Jever that fresh since..... ever.
