If you go to Balmoral, you can get a two-for-one because Spiteful is literally right there, too.

To be fair, if he goes to Lincoln, Dovetail and Begyle are walking distance as well.

    Not really a bad option.

This is great to know, thanks. I would love to get to Dovetail for some traditional brews.

Alive in it's Jaws was amazing when I had it on Friday night......think the server we had was a little annoyed with us though. Asked if they had Crowlers, she responded, "yes, we have both", so I ordered a Crowler(had never done so in the past so didn't know). She came back with a 32oz Growler of beer.....haha

Not the end of the world, but I did have to drink it when I got back home on Sunday because the cap she put on was a little bent and the grower had leaked in the cooler we had it in.

Howdy. Had a chance to try the DDC Capra which I liked a lot, and Alive in its... sounds great. Realistically, I will have to "make do" with Colorado beers as it will be MONTHS before I can visit Chicago with any legitimate excuse. Cheers all... keep on keepin' on.

Might be the first time I've seen them include DDH in a beer description. Have times changed this much? Or, am I smoking way too much pot?

I'm out of the loop as I've never loved Half Acre's beers, but haven't they basically been brewing "trendy" IPA's for a while now, but not calling them by name (hazy, New England, DDH, etc)?

Maybe they are dipping their toe into being up-front about it?

Sorry if I'm way off-base here.

They've certainly done some different beers that trend more towards hazy, but you never can tell what the hell is going on with their descriptions.

I'm psyched about this one, as I love lemon bars, lemon cream pies, etc. This could really be good for my palate.

My take is that they took their time and figured out how to make them right. After the latest Tired Hands collab, everything they've touched in the arena has been a hit.

A Saturday release at both locations? That’s shaking things up a bit. I’m excited by the promise of some hot-side hops in Melt Forever. Should mean that it’s not overly sweet. I’d be disappointed if these were missing the Half Acre touch.

I think this is the second time they’ve done this dual location Saturday release. Maybe for Alive in its Jaws as well?

I’m hoping to hit up Balmoral for lunch tomorrow.
