Cool article. Both strange and shitty that Fenway Park's beer selection was better before Sam Adams took over as the official beer of Fenway Park over Budweiser. Used to be able to get Smuttynose and Jacks Abby as well but not anymore.

That Crawford Bock can for the Astros is straight FIRE.

Strange times in SD. Ballast is doing some nice toe-stepping on Alesmith's turf with their Padres inspired beer.

Very cool article. Agree with the Phillies lineup since Troegs, Victory, and Yards were all mentioned. Troegs and Victory are Central PA/SEPA staples and Yards, of course, is straight from Philly. When I think of Philly, I think of Yards.

Ugh! Another reason not to go to a Blue Jays game...

The beer lineup at CBP has changed so much since I moved away. I remember thinking getting Yuengling was a fun and exciting chance of pace.

3 Floyds is available at Wrigley for the first time this year. They also added a couple of Half Acre options and some others. The Chicago Tribune article I read claimed the new craft offerings would be priced between $10 and $12. I'm hopeful yet doubtful of those figures, as a draft pour of Bud Light is currently $10. Go Cubbies!

that sounds like a TOUGH beer to drink for a 'Stros game, hot as hell is not Bock weather for me but I'd have a couple in the comfort of indoors.

I'm guessing its more along the lines of a Shiner than a German import.

I reckon that is probably true as well, but in the Houston heat that still sounds like a bridge too far, I'd much rather have a pils or something. Maybe I'm just picky.

The beer selection at CBP is quite extensive. The list for 2019 is not completely filled out but I noticed that two of the new Victory beers of Twisted Monkey and No Brainer are on the list. When my wife and I go she generally drinks Hop Devil while I typically go for a Pilsner (e.g., Sly Fox Pikeland Pils).

Rhys Hoskins hit a Grand Slam earlier and the Phils are up 10-4.

    Go Phils!!

    Cheers!

Last time I was at CBP, I had a 16 oz can of Sly Fox 360° with the pop off lid.

I head right for the Hop Devil stand in Philly, then the crab fries.

Saw on Untappd that CBP has Yards Pale Ale in 19.2 oz cans. Will be my go to this year.

Best ballpark in America. (not most historic)

Hopefully you do that before the game otherwise you will miss a whole inning waiting in that line. Maybe two innings this year assuming increased attendance due to the 'Bryce Harper effect'.

    Cheers!
