    Hey hey,

This thread is LLLLLLLOOOOOOONNNNNNG. Can I get a list of good breweries to visit in Louisville/Lexington, please?

    Already on the list:
    Country Boy
    West Sixth Brewing
    Mirror Twin
    Against the Grain

    Thanks!

I'd add Akasha to the list in Louisville. They got a new head brewer last fall and he's been doing some killer stuff.

ya I need to revisit 3rd turn, my experience was pretty meh. But Akasha is solid and holsopple is good stuff too. Great flood also had some good stuff, nice variety, and some cool guest taps

New to Kentucky: Perennial Artisian Ales

Seen bombers of Sump, and a few different cans; I grabbed Saison De Lis.

Coming from a Buckeye, you Bluegrass boys are slacking! We can't leave it just to @IMFletcher to keep us up to date.

    Also, Re: Hoof Hearted

Those cans that are showing up are not from HH proper. They are contract brewed by Great South Bay for distro by 12 Percent. FYI. @johnjohnbeer @dscott421 @slangtruth

I believe Perennial was a one time drop earlier last month; we got some last year as well in a single release.

Yeah, I haven't purchased any. Local reviews have been mixed, at best.

Long shot I know, but any Lexington folks willing to part with a SC set? I have a last minute funeral 9-12 on Saturday and I’m gonna miss it now.

I'm sure Lou Beer Snobs will be razzling them, lol.

There's a FB group called Lex Beer Trades, you might find a mule there. I'd help, but mine are all spoken for.

BTW, if you're going to West Sixth and you're not in the top 150, you will likely not get variants. Info sourced from the brewery.

I have been told Perennial is going to be regular distro now. This isn't going to be a one time drop like last time.
