I’d just like to say that the lack of praise here for the moon child porter is simply criminal. This stuff is amazing.

Also a fan. Definitely grown on me over the 4 pack. Drinking last one now

Anyone try any of today’s beers and have a strong opinion one way or the other?

 

They have bottles of Miami Madness and Cuvée de Wakefield for in house consumption, $35 is a lot tho.

 

Hearing good things about the stout.

I had Citra+Strata in taproom, can recommend cans if you're into that dank and fruit profile with a nice bitter edge on it. Also, Stay Wild porter is def delicious but I wasn't get any adjunct which is alright by me frankly.

 

Seven Deadly Layers is quite nice. Getting mostly cacao, coconut, and butterscotch right now, but it's a tasty sipper.

On a similar subject: I posted about how I thought Stay Wild Moon Child was overly sweet and that it overpowered some of the adjuncts the day it was released. Fast forward a few weeks and I'll +1 what everyone else is saying. It definitely turned a corner in the past week or so. Less sweet and I'm able to taste the almond now. A fine offering that I now regret giving away to friends.

The more recent OH-only IPAs that I've tried in the past week or so have all been "generically Other Half" to varying degrees. Citra+Strata is pretty nice though.

 

Man mouthful of diamonds is IMO the best ipa other half has brewed all year. Just a beautiful beer. Very treehouse like. Soft, juicy, creamy, a little dank, incredible lacing and a cloud like head. I wish this was considered the “Daydream” treatment.

 

Had pretty high hopes for the daydreamiest (by triple standards) but it’s way too sweet

 

Mosaic+Loral is real nice. Big mosaic stone fruits, some extra floral and bitterness. If you're on that Hop Showers I think the dual-hop series still fills in for those absences- this and the Citra+Strata recently, specifically- and are a good reminder of exactly how narrow are the flavors in our favorite single hops.
