A funny story. My wife and I went to a Phillies game and afterwards went to Standard Tap for a couple of beers/dinner. When we were in the bar we struck up a conversation with another couple and ironically they were at the game as well (they were in town for the Weekend from Wyoming). We talked about the game but about the amenities at CBP as well. The gentleman told me that he was quite surprised about the crab fries. He must have seen the quizzical look on my face and he stated: "I thought they would be made from crabs". I laughed since being a local this thought never crossed my mind. I asked him if he liked fries with Old Bay on them and he said "Yes, once I got over the disappointment of them not being fried crab".

    Cheers!

You need a nice drinkable beer to cut thru the old bay. Or two. I always reach for junk food, crab fries and hot pretzels. If I want a great steak it won’t be in the ball park.

Wow, the Tigers are going deep with their offerings at Comerica Park. Backwoods Bastard and CBS from Founders, Two Hearted from Bell's and M-43 from Old Nation among several others that would keep me buying game tickets if I didn't live two hours away. The times they are a changing when you see offerings like these.

Whaaat Citi Field has Interboro AND LIC?

As a Yankees fan, I guess it gives me one thing to be jealous of the Mets.

Man, they added more to their vast lineup? So messed up it's like craft beer nirvana over there while we're left to basically pound Denogs and FW beers just across the bay.

The Wayback 9 burger challenge is where it's at. Did that before a game in the summer then sat in the sun. Thought I was going to die.

You know it’s stupid to play on Thurs and not have another game until Saturday.

Dale, it is a loooong season. Plenty of time to get those 162 games played.

    Cheers!

Actually Minute Maid's roof is hardly ever open, and the air conditioning is always on full blast. A few years ago my parents came down to visit me to see a Cubs/Stros game (back when they played each other a lot) and my Dad said it wasn't right that we couldn't get a sweat going during the game like in the bleachers of Wrigley

And Saint Arnold 5 O'Clock Pils is always on at their bar, much better than any pseudo Shiner/Ziegenbock product Karbach will put out.

Happy to see the great beer offerings at Citi Field. Since my Mets have been so awful, I’ve rarely followed or made it out to the ballpark. Now I have a great excuse to watch shitty baseball and wash it down with great beer.

What’s next? You’re gonna tell me Buffalo Wings are not made from Buffalo meat? What’s this world coming to?
