Might as well add phosphates and cherry wine, actual wine and bourbon at this point. Kool-aid and Powerade next!

I saw that, but I think you misread, I distinctively remember it saying Ricola barrels. The cherries didn't add enough cough syrup taste to the beer, so they decided to take it up a notch.

 

For people (like me) whose computers shat the bed when tickets went live, and was hoping the secondary market would come through, does this language on the DLD site effectively mean there will be no secondary market: "The name on your ticket must match the ID of the ticket holder"? I haven't been to DLD before and wasn't sure if this is something that's actually upheld.

 

Never had anyone check my ticket to match my ID. This is just language to curb secondary sales, but they have never enforced it in my experience of going for 5+ years.

 

You can be assured resellers will find a loophole in any rule or policy. It's a certainty up there with death and taxes.

floyds usually sells IP tickets a couple weeks before DLD. you could always try that.

 

It was most certainly enforced in like 2013-2015 IIRC. At least in the morning, they may have gotten lax later in the day. I remember my guest needing to stand right next to me as I showed my ID and both tickets were checked.

However last 2-3 years it was not checked at all. The new wristbands don't even have your name on them for them to check, and the scanner they use I am pretty sure just says if the wristband is valid or not, I don't think it shows any details to them such as your name.

 

I think today is a good day to discuss if Three Floyd’s is a Chicago or Indiana brewery.

 

They are in more chicago professional sports venues than Indiana. checkmate.

 

My favorite topic has always been bowel movement suppression while at DLD.

 

Seems like just preplanning. If you systematically empty it prior to DLD. You’ll be good.
