NA's dancing on my own, super simple, great mouthfeel, very clean for a hazy (if that makes sense). yet another amazing beer from this great state.

NA Ba’al was really tasty as well. These are the first NA beers I’ve had. Both were excellent but I preferred the Ba’al.

Best thing I've had recently was Soft Light from Eurisko Beer Company. Had literally never heard of the brewery before that, but Tasty had it on the other day. Best lower ABV ipa I can ever remember having around here.

Burial just keeps pumping out the delicious hazy IPAs.

Drop the Guillotine is darn tasty, even if I am not always a fan of Eukanot hops. And the label art is a great hommage to NC.

Thought Guillotine was pretty meh, but definitely sweet looking can.

Are these brewery only or did it hit distro?

Should of hit disto, I picked mine up in Durham last week.

Loved Vividly Depicted Hauntings though, great hazy mosaic standard ipa.

I grabbed a can of Drop the Guillotine in the second week of March, so this might be a second batch that is hitting now. Typical solid Burial hazy DIPA. There aren't very many breweries in NC putting out new hazy IPAs as frequently and as good as Burial.

Pretty sure it was just one batch. They’ve just been selling as much as they can at the brewery initially and then putting the rest in distro to make way for the new week’s releases. Same for The End is Never Near (which I liked a lot for 4.2%).

Yeah I saw that one in AVL, didn't pick any up, because Talonsword was so damn tasty.

Really impressed with the Casita/Wilmington ipa Go Ask Your Mother. Just bursting with tropical fruit notes. Think it’s the best hoppy beer I’ve had from either brewery.

That's good to know, I have not bought Casita in a while because they have not been up to par with others!

There were a couple over the fall/winter that did not hit the mark for me - Waking Dream, LaDiDaDi, Kingdom of Clouds come to mind. The High Fives and Good Vibes was very good a couple of months ago. Been drinking more Burial, High Branch, Resident Culture, Incendiary Brewing, and Heist lately. Will def try the Go Ask your Mother though!

I haven’t liked all the Casita ipa’s, but this one is legit.

Castia IPAs in general to me haven't been up to par with the likes of New Anthem and Burial. I'd rather keep buying what I know is going to be consistently awesome IPAs than to keep hoping Casita does a great collab IPA (as their own IPAs have been pretty hit and miss).

Just buy a single can or draft and try it. I like Burial and New Anthem too, but both have plenty of misses too.

Can confirm the Casita Go Ask Your Mother is legit. All the Wilmington Brewing releases/collabs I've tried lately have been really good. I wasn't thrilled with the Burial IPAs from last week's release, but honestly we're just blessed with a ton of great IPAs of all stripes right now.

Agree about last week’s Burial releases. To Streak Blood wasn’t as good as it has been previously and the one with pineapple in it wasn’t good IMO.
