Same here in GA. The distro for BP has been very limited in the past couple of years.

I hear you. It's worth mentioning that they recently (6 months ago?) switched to 6 packs of 16oz cans for Hoponious so if you see it in that format it should be relatively fresh.

    Cheers, see you Sunday!

I'll get around to this eventually but currently Jack's Abby, Von Trapp, and most recently Schilling have been keeping me in lagers to my heart's content, and different brewers seem to be putting out new lagers with some regularity. It's a nice change from just, what, five years ago?

Ha yeah should have worded that differently.

I meant an ale yeast is better for hop forward styles and showcasing hops.

Heh, I knew what you meant. Just lightly bustin' chops as is done around here I've learned.

    Bought a sixer today.....really disappointing....

Anyone want to trade me for five of them? I'll throw in a bag of doritos....

But seriously....it manages to be a watery, malty, grassy mess....

No worries! I welcome my chops to be busted here.

This happens quite often anytime spending money gets brought up in a conversation with me.

    Right @meefmoff ?

    How do you mean?

I've always found Cool Ranch Doritos to showcase hops better than an ale yeast.

I haven't seen Big Eye around either and just looked at the BP website, looks like it is no longer being produced (at least not packaged). A few years ago I was getting sixers of Big Eye for $5.99, such a good deal when it was fresh.
